Winkleigh Heroes is a project to record fully and as accurately as possible the lives and service of those from Winkleigh who died during the First World War. New research has discovered that despite the best efforts at the time, some names were omitted from the Memorial Cross and from the Roll of Honour. ACE is pleased to be able to assist this continuing project.
